Reception

Guppy's house. What little furniture there is has been mostly moved upstairs, apart from the threadbare sofa, bean bag and a few newly mended garden chairs.

The whole area is decorated with ribbons and flowers.

The wedding cake seems to have been replaced with a great big pile of chocolate mini rolls with the figurines on top.
It's the cat's fault.
People can wander through the small kitchen and help themselves to the rest of the food, which is party-like, plentiful and very nut free.

Drinks

Drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, can be found in the living room.

Rapunzel helps herself to a glass of wine, and looks around at the mix of guests with interest. She isn't entirely sure which are from Milliways, and which aren't. She isn't sure if she should be trying to disguise the rapid growth of her hair or not.

Medusa is rather too nervous to eat. Which is bad, given the amount of people around. And also that she can't stretch out her wings. For better or for worse, she can't really get drunk on mortal drinks, so she's hovering by the table, a cup of water in her hands, looking...

More than a little nervous, really.

(Her dress does help with that. A little. It's hard to be exceedingly nervous in a dress like this.)

Frogspawn's father is running the disco out in the back garden.

Nearby is a mini!creche with Guppy's uncle, Ani, Abby, Nathan Spencer and Angel, who are playing with bubbles.

If anyone would like to leave a present, the dining table is the place.

Momiji (who has managed to find a proper, normal suit for the wedding, even if that matching top hat might be a bit much) slinks by the dining table to leave a pair of gifts. One is significantly larger than the other, but both are wrapped in mist-green paper with unreasonably sized hearts printed all over.

The bigger package has cushy, "his and hers" bathrobes, the "his" in deep purple and the "hers" in light pink. Both have the intended owners' names across the backs - "Guppy" and "Frogspawn." Hopefully they fit.

The smaller parcel contains a sizeable basket of chocolate dipped fruit, starting with strawberries and cherries towards the top and getting progessively more exotic as one gets towards the bottom.

With the presents delivered, the rabbit-boy slinks out towards the rest of the reception to get a look around.

In an elegantly wrapped package from Kate and Will, a green mixer is inside, along with the mixer is a gift certificate for a fun food store.

Sara and Mark's gifts include blank scrapbooks for Guppy and Frogspawn's first year of marriage, a fine set of cutlery, and wine glasses etched with white lilies.

The statue of Althena Mia made for Guppy, wrapped in a box so that it's not obvious what it is, has long since been finished and is awaiting its new home.

Mia put Draco's name on it, too.

Demeter said she'd give him a kettle and she found a that's hidden in a large basket full of food goodies from her home in Southern France, a blanket for the baby and a few small gifts for lovers.

When she arrives at the reception she stops by a table with presents first. Dropping off a tightly wrapped

Inside they will find a blender because she likes to be cheeky along with a first edition of Hippocrates journal.

Atton's presents aren't wrapped - They're pretty much just in a cardboard box.

Guppy gets a kilt and a knife. Frogspawn gets a clan pendant-y thingy - One of the smallish (well, an two inches from the back of the head to the tip of the snout) silver wolf's heads with little red stones set in as eyes, like the one that Guppy already has.

They both get a toaster.

Atton isn't good at buying presents, really.

Traditional wedding fight

Down the side of the house, the bride's mother and the groom's mother appear to be attacking one another with their handbags. The happy couple have not yet noticed.

Amanda walks around looking for Scampi why she comes across the two fighting.

Momiji is not so up on British wedding customs, but he's betting that this might not be one of them. Also, sort of staring, his top hat off center on his head, and trying to think of something to do.

A more cautious Sohma boy would probably do anything to avoid getting in between two angry women swinging small forms of luggage. But, then again, there's a reason Momiji occasionally gets people sent to watch him in public, at the age of sixteen.

Which is to say that he steps right in the middle of the pair, looking from side to side and grinning without any perceptible nervousness.

"Hi!" His accent, though clearly Asian, is still pretty understandable.

Amadna walks in absolutely beaming. She is wearing a tasteful red dress.

She looks around recognizing a couple people but mostly the room is filled with strangers. Thankfully this doesn't bother her. She begins mingling.

"Can I get you a drink Amanda?" The bride asks, coming up and grinning with Guppy behind her.
