Having collected everyone from the bar, Guppy leads them back through to the house, where they enter through the kitchen.

The living room furniture has been mostly moved out of the way, and that's where the most of the party has been set up. The sofa and some chairs are around the edge of the room, and there's music playing. The kitchen is a bit small so the food is being taken through into the dining room. Also a little on the small side, but enough for purpose. All of the baby gates are open on the ground floor, but not on the stairs.

Upstairs, the spare bedroom has been set aside for any little people at the party. It's a bit quieter, with baby-sized food, some toys, and a DVD of Pingu playing.

"Hey, if I get sick, you think I'm going to go and use my sick days? I'll gladly stay in the Bar, get better, and let Raps play nurse." Which brings a big and mildly suggestive smile to Alex's face.

"Well I'm working on finding a cure, but it's going to take time." Guppy says. "At the moment we're just treating the symptoms, that's all we can do."

"It's not a bad start." Small smile. "It's pretty contagious though, try not to infect Raps if you get it."

He looks around. "Did you bring her? It was sort of a mob when I brought you all in."

"She's around her somewhere," Alex says ~~as the mun handwaves~~. "I don't know if she can actually get the flu, or anything else. That whole Fable magic constitution thing.

"Of course, if it's Bar flu, it's probably magic, too."

"Heh, in that case if it goes epidemic, I'll add her to my people to watch out for and try to recruit list."

"So you're acting like the CDC. Not a bad idea.

"Too bad we don't have a newspaper in the Bar anymore. We could keep people informed." Or start a panic. Which is almost the same thing.

"I was officially on staff for a while, but Lilly and her cohort left. And I like being a reporter, but it's a big leap to editing even a local rag for a few hundred." He's also averse to responsibility of that degree. "Besides, I have a job in the Bar. I'm helping Mike with a project." Sort of. It's not like anything that Mike's handling is done in a timely fashion.

"Just making sense of the security handbook. For a bar with a small staff, the rules and regs have a way of piling up for Mike." Mike is, alas, a former turtle of very little brain. Or at least writing skill.
