Guppy leads Amanda through the door into his home, starting from the bedroom.

"I'm sorry about the mess." he says, scooping up a Sphynx kitten that is intruding his personal space. "Prawn, you're not allowed in here, come downstairs."

Amanda chuckles, "I've seen worse."

"Ahh, but she seems so sweet." suddenly she realizes, "Maybe I should have changed."

"Prawn is a he, and no cats upstairs." Guppy says. Then he smiles at her. "Don't worry about it, you look fine."

He leads her downstairs into the living room, where Frogspawn is ironing and Alexander is lying on the floor playing with a dangly toy arch above him, or Scampi's tail, whichever is closer.

Frogspawn doesn't seem surprised to see Guppy coming down from their bedroom with a woman who she didn't see go up there.

"Hey Frogs, this is Amanda, you met a later version of her at our wedding." Guppy says, bending down to tickle Alexander on the tummy.

"Hi Amanda, would you like some tea?" Frogspawn asks, turning the iron off.

Amanda had a 50/50 chance.

Giving Guppy a bow at the compliment, "Why thank you good Sir." Amanda is all smiles.

When Frogspawn looks in her direction she offers, "Good Evening."

"Yes, thank you, I would love some tea."

Amanda kneels down next to Alexander and Scampi, "Hello Alexander." she turns breifly to Scampi, "And to you Scampi."

"Mrowl." Scampi comments, moving over to rub his face on her.

Alexander looks up at the strange lady with big blue eyes, then smiles and reaches towards her.

Amanda picks Alexander up and chuckles, "He is such a sweet child."

She tries to free a hand to pet Scampi too.

"He gets that from his mum." Guppy says, sitting down next to them.

"He's nearly six months old, but if you adjust his age to account for the prematurity he's about thirteen weeks from birth age."

"I wouldn't go that far." though she doesn't turn her head from the baby.

"What's in an age?" she chuckles. "Isn't that right Alex."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Who's that Fry? It's your Auntie Amanda come for a big cuddle!"

Alexander laughs again, batting at Amanda's hair.

Amanda lets him play with her hair and at the moment she has alot of it.

"You are going to grow up big and strong aren't you?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"Ah!" Alexander says.

"It's time for his feed, do you want to bottle feed him?" Guppy asks.

Amanda thinks for a moment, "I don't know how." she admits.

[guppy_sandhu]

"About time you learned then." Guppy says, showing her how to hold Alexander.

"Now keep the bottle up at an angle so that there aren't air bubbles in it."

"Keep at an angle." she repeats. After a moment, "Oh I see." she flashes a smile.

[guppy_sandhu]

Alexander NOMS at the drink hungrily.

Amanda chuckles, "He is precious."

"And he is lucky to have such wnoderful parents."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Thanks." Guppy and Frogspawn say at the same time.

"We do our best." Frogspawn adds, "But we have a long way to go in learning."

Amanda chuckles at the harmonious response.

"You care. That really makes all the difference." she asks Alex, "Don't you agree?"

[guppy_sandhu]

Alexander is too busy drinking to reply, but he certainly looks happy enough.

"We're trying to learn from our own parents." Frogspawn says wryly.

"Love him, it's what he needs most." she watches Alex with warm eyes.

This is going to be one of the most loved babies around.

[guppy_sandhu]

"We do." Guppy says. "With all our hearts. He gives our life focus. Best little accident ever."

"He is a very lucky accident." she speaks to Alex again, "You have two wonderful parents."

Looking over towards the parents, "How is everything else?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"Holby's not been in a good way." Guppy says. "There's a serious gang problem. But it's not affecting this area of the city much."

[immortalthief]

"Be safe." she looks a little concerned

[guppy_sandhu]

"We're keeping an eye on it." Frogspawn says. "So long as Guppy doesn't try any heroics I'm sure we'll be fine."

Amanda nods, "Good." she doesn't have many that she considers such a good friend.
