Reception

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy's house. What little furniture there is has been mostly moved upstairs, apart from the threadbare sofa, bean bag and a few newly mended garden chairs.

The whole area is decorated with ribbons and flowers.

"Exactly. And in times of crisis she makes me packed lunches."

"How sweet." she holds her hand over her heart.

Guppy grins.

"She looks after me, I look after her. Teamwork."

"That is how it is meant to be."

"i wish you both luck and happiness." she kisses him once on each cheek.

"Thank you." he returns the kisses.

"What are you up to these days?"

"Just travelling." she shrugs

"Keeping safe?"

"Of course." she smiles, "And I suppose trying to find a way back to Milliways."

"How did you get here?"

"I was owed a Boon by some Gods and I guess they figured that I would be interested in using for this." she smiles, "They were right."

"Well that's great, you didn't even need an invite."

"They knew. So they asked me." she smiles, "I made the right choice."

"I'm glad they did." He hugs her. "And it sounds like they're watching out for you as well."

"Maybe. More likely I don't think they like having a favor owed. Either way I'm glad they contacted me."

"They won't make you do anything horrible in return will they?"

Amanda shakes her head, "Do you remember when I was mortal? Well this is a favor owed from that time."

"Yes. Well the younger you was until recently."

Amanda looked shocked, "That much younger? Wow. Bar doesn't kid around."

Guppy nods.

"She just transitioned to immortal, if I hadn't known about you I'd have been terrified."

"I see. She must have been terrified and confused." she gives Guppy another hug. "I'm glad you could be there for her...me...you know what I mean."

"Well, yes, she died." He hugs back.

"But all is well now I take it?" Amanda wonders almost to herself, "I wonder if she has met Rebecca?"

[guppy_sandhu]

"Yes." Guppy says reassuringly. "As far as I know, she didn't turn up today but maybe two of you aren't supposed to be in the same place at the same time."
