Reception

Guppy's house. What little furniture there is has been mostly moved upstairs, apart from the threadbare sofa, bean bag and a few newly mended garden chairs.

The whole area is decorated with ribbons and flowers.

Amadna walks in absolutely beaming. She is wearing a tasteful red dress.

She looks around recognizing a couple people but mostly the room is filled with strangers. Thankfully this doesn't bother her. She begins mingling.

"Can I get you a drink Amanda?" The bride asks, coming up and grinning with Guppy behind her.

"No, thank you I 'm fine. But can I get you something?" she is aware that this is Frogspawn's day. Hers and Guppy's.

Amanda beams when she see's him coming. When he arrives she gives him a warm hug.

"We're good thanks." Guppy hugs back. "Amanda, this is my wife Frogspawn. We're having a baby."

"But not today." Frogspawn puts in with a cheesy grin.

"Oh, Congradulations." she touches Frogspawn gently on the arm (Nothing impolite).

"I know Guppy will make a wonderful dad." she doesn't want to use the word father.

"Thank you." Guppy grins. Frogspawn grins too.

"It's very exciting, we're trying to prepare."

"If there is anything I can do to help." she offers.

And unable to hold it in any longer she hugs Guppy and whispers in his ear. "I'm so glad you are happy. You deserve this."

"Thank you. I'm so glad you could make it." Guppy says. Frogspawn smiles and leaves the two to it for a bit.

"I am wonderful." she looks at him, "But I have missed you soo much."

"I've missed you too. Though a younger version of you is in the bar now so I see you a bit."

"Really?" she says, "Guess my memories haven't caught up with me yet."

"Hope she is behaving herself." though she doubts it.

"Yes, she is. Wouldn't have been able to help her without you though."

"Oh stop that." she gives him another hug. It's been years she is allowed.

"How is Scampi?"

"He ate the wedding cake." Guppy says with an eyeroll.

Amanda laughs, "That sounds like him."

"He's upstairs if you want to see him. Sleeping it off."

"Perhaps later. I haven't seen you or anyone else from Milliways in a while." she notices Knox for one.

"I hope you are getting more rest then you were." yes she still worries.

"Were you around when I changed jobs to working with the elderly?"

Amanda shakes her head, "No I wasn't." she laughs, "Guess you were used to dealing with the elderly." taking a shot at herself.

"You don't look a day over twenty one."

"You are too kind." she knows better.

"So what then are you dong now?"

"I work in geriatric rehabilitation. It's still got its own challenges but the patients don't tend to try and hurt me and the hours are more regular."

"That is wonderful." she beams at him. "It sounds less abusive."

"It is. And Frogspawn works in physiotherapy, just downstairs."

"So you two aren't far apart, that's wonderful."
