Mar. 2nd, 2010 11:46 pmThere's been two MAJAXes in Holby today; City hospital took the brunt, but the waves have spread through the rest of the hospitals. Everything gets shunted back and messed around and slowed down.
Guppy has just finished sorting out a flurry of new patients when he found his wife sitting in their staff room, being comforted by one of the nurses. Concerned, he moves quickly over and sits next to her.
"Hey, are you okay? Is the baby?"
"Baby and I are fine." Frogspawn says quickly, looking up at him. "I've lost my job. Apparently I'm surplus to requirements but look." she shows him the paper on the table. "They're advertising my job. I think someone let slip that I was pregnant before I got the chance to tell them officially."
"I'm sure of it." the nurse says, looking over at Guppy. "Remember I bumped into you after you had your scan? After you left I saw Sharpe snooping around."
"Well it's illegal as it is, even more if they knew you were pregnant." Guppy says. "Come on, I'll drive you home and you can put your feet up, we'll get legal representative and sort this out."
