Sep. 5th, 2009 04:22 pmGuppy and Enzo emerge into Guppy's house from the first floor* closet. Frogspawn is still in that room, searching for Alex.
"I think the stair gate was open when mum was here, it's not impossible he could have got up the stairs." She says, glancing at Enzo.
"This is Enzo, he's come to help." Guppy says, in case she hadn't met him the first time he came to Guppy's world, when Alex was still in NICU.
"I remember, thanks Enzo." Frogspawn manages a weak smile. "Alex likes to hide in small places, but usually we see him go. Grandma took her eyes off him for several minutes and we don't know which way he went."
[*Note, in case of confusion: In the UK, the floor that is on ground level (what is called the first floor in the US) is called the ground floor. The floor above that is called the first floor, then second floor, and so on. Since I am a Brit and everyone who knows I'm a Brit and knows that the nomenclature is different will be expecting me to call the floors by the UK terms, I will continue to do so]
