Apart from his early experiences with a consultant pediatrician, Guppy doesn't remember ever coming across a consultant as consistantly chirpy as Holly seems to be.
"Good, so far. Though I guess I've only been doing daytime weekday. And apart from the patient who told me I should have been left on that island."
"That wasn't very nice of him."
"It's okay, he spent the rest of the consultation telling me he was a tomato and I was manipulating his dislocated shoulder at the time. It was actually quite reassuring to hear him say something related to the real world." Guppy smiles a little. "How are you doing? Must be tough starting out at the top when you're still having to keep an eye on me and Emily."
Holly grins. "It's just great, I'm used to not having anyone over me. But thanks for asking." A more serious expression. "Oh, while I remember, and sorry to bring this up. When do you need to be in court? I'll need to schedule your cover."
"It's a week on Friday. Starting. I'm not sure how long it will take. My lawyer reckons it shouldn't take too long but it may run over a day or two."
"Take as long as you need." She smiles. "I hope it goes well for you. We seem to be a good team."
