Mar. 30th, 2006 02:46 pm"I'm sorry Guppy, I was supposed to take you home yesterday morning. But whatever Molly gave me really went to my head."
Abs stops, noticing the look on Guppy's face.
"What?"
"Take me?" He scowls. "Excuse me, did I miss something here? The part where either a. you became my parent, or b. you had the authority and evidence to section me."
"Guppy I didn't mean..."
"Yes you did. I'm not coming with you. Go back if you want. I don't want you getting any more hurt. But Hank is still away and I am NOT abandoning my friends when a simple procedure could make the difference between death, extreme pain or health. Ray's right, catching fire is not such a big deal. Drop, wrap, roll. Fix it in the infirmary." He scowls. "And although I appreciate you looking after me, neither you nor Amanda has the right to tell me where I can and cannot go."
He gets up and goes to the door. "Don't worry, I'll tell her you tried. And in a way I should thank you. You've shown me what a miserable, pathetic creature I've become. I keep saying it, it's time to change. And each time I mean it. Maybe this time I'll be strong enough to carry it out."
He leaves the speechless Abs and closes the door behind him.
