There's a small gap in the rubble, enough for Guppy, Will and Atton to squeeze through. The house looks decidedly unstable though.

"If anyone asks, you heard from outside and came in to help." Guppy whispers to them.

Once they're through, he pushes the broken door back and goes outside, looking around for sources of help.

"Will, can you please run to the nearest house that will answer the door and ask them to phone the emergency services - tell them there has been an explosion with at least three casualties, possible need for the fire service and police escourt. You got that? Atton, you're coming back in with me, might need you to hold the ceiling up with Forcey stuff."

"Oh aye."

Will moves as quickly as he can and knocks at the nearest door.

"Ceilings are fun," Atton remarks absently, watching Will go.

Guppy nods, picking his way back through the rubbish. He hopes Will manages to find help.

"Can you all still hear me?" he asks, hearing silence in response. He picks his way through the rubble to the first unconscious person, the father who wired up the explosives. Definitely dead. Deep breath, move on.

He climbs up the rubble to the remaining two, who are still alive. The young lad he performed surgery on is conscious, and terrified.

"Bradley, we've sent for help. This is Anton, he heard the bang."

Looking at Atton. "Can you talk to him, try and keep him calm while I help his mother? We should be able to hand them over to the emergency services soon."

The door's opened and Will is glared at, "What do you want?"

"There's been an 'xplosion, least three folks are badly injured. Need ye to call for 'elp now."

When the confused man doesn't do anything, Will just glares, "Ye goin' to do anythin' or just stand there with yer mouth open?"

"I'll call, I'll call, three casulties?"

"Aye."

Atton pauses, a little, when he's told to talk to the injured boy. He's not entirely sure what to say.

"So." Beat. "Weather's nice."

Doesn't matter what Atton says, so long as it keeps the kid alert.

"Is it?" Rad asks, looking at Atton with a WTF expression. "Can't really tell in here."

Guppy checks the vital signs of the mother, who still seems to be alive and breathing, fortunately.

"Mrs Smith, can you hear me? Can you open your eyes?"

Rad tries to look over, then back at Atton.

"Is she okay?"

Once Will hears the man on the phone, he walks back to the house looking around to see what else he can do.

Atton just shrugs at Rad.

"How should I know?"

There are some gang members fighting out front near the house, but the back door is clear for Will.

Already the sound of sirens can be heard, and the ambulance arrives. But as the paramedics come out, they start getting harrassed by one of the gangs, whilst the other fends them off.

Guppy holds Mrs Smith's head safely.

"Bradley, keep calm. Help is on the way." Guppy says. "I'm doing everything I can for your mum."

"Where's Dad?"

Guppy doesn't hesitate, and truthfully answers.

"He's downstairs. Keep still."

Not the time to break the bad news.

Will comes over, wading into the gang members,

"Stop this, tis folks 'urtin'. If ye're goin' to fight, dinna dare do it 'ere."

Atton can only hear four heartbeats from inside the house - he and Guppy make up at least two, and the boy Rad surely another one. He can only presume the mother is the fourth.

With that same enhanced hearing, conversations outside the house are fairly easy to hear, which is why Atton starts heading for the stairs when he hears Will talking to the gang members.

He doesn't actually go down - he believes in Will's ability to talk them down and get them to go away. But he's ready in case things go wrong.

One of the gangs seems to be on Will's side, trying to protect the paramedics. They're marked with black hoodies with red devil horns painted on in fabric paint. The others are a vicious looking lot with half of their left eyebrow shaven off in each case. All of the gangsters are, on this occasion, adult - the gang war has progressed past the squabbles among the kid members.

"They're gonna save one of Them." says a half left eyebrow gang member, pointing at the red devil horns.

"Rad's just a kid, give us a bloody ceasefire!" yells a younger member of the red devil horns. "He's just a pawn in this war."

"He fights with the adults, he can die with them."

The paramedics decide to duck back into the ambulance until the police backup comes; sirens sound like they're on the way. The eyebrows start throwing rocks at it.

"What the hell is going on out there?" Guppy asks Atton, looking towards the door.

Hearing them say that makes Will reach for a sword that isn't there as he punches out one of the eyebrow gang members,

"Aye, me friend is goin' to save 'im an if ye're lucky someday when ye're 'urtin' 'e'll save ye too."

"People are throwing stones while pretending to be dramatic holofilm antiheroes," Atton says, mildly. "I'll be right back, 'kay?"

Atton heads out the door, moving over towards Will. A gang member, startled by his sudden appearance, makes a move towards him, and finds themself tossed onto their back by an invisible force.

The cavalry arrive; police and fire engines. The gang members retreat, but they're not far away.

"Hey, how many people are in the building?" the chief fireman asks Will.

"What the hell is a holofilm?" Rad asks Guppy, inside the house.

"He's foreign." Guppy says, ducking as a load of plaster dust showers down.

"Three o''em an there's already a doctor down there, Guppy Sandhu."

"There's also a dead guy," Atton chimes in.

"Thanks." The fireman goes into the building.

"Dr Sandhu? This building is unsound, come out and let the emergency services deal with this please."

"You're going to be okay." Guppy says to the two remaining casualties. He goes down the rubble towards the fireman, who he updates on the patients.

"We can take it from here, you get yourself home."

Guppy nods.

"This is my number, I'll give you a statement later if you need it."

He steps out of the house and goes up to Atton and Will, then when nobody else is looking, puts on the belt Atton gave him to be unnoticable.

"Okay, it's down the road on the right." he says, gripping onto both of their sleeves so they know where he is.

Will gives a glare to the eyebrow gang before moving to leave with Guppy,

"Glad they'll be safe."

"Yeah, s'good."

The eyebrow gang start to follow them.

"Thanks for your help guys." Guppy says. "If they see me, they might make me a target."

Will nods to Atton since he's worried about the men following them.

Atton nods back at Will and drops his pace, slightly, so that he hangs back behind Guppy and Will more and more.

"What is it?" Guppy asks, holding onto Will's sleeve.

The gang members circle Atton, like wolves.

"You made some enemies." one says.

"Trouble cause rare 'nough to na get any. Ye try an keep out o'it just cause ye 'ave to live 'ere, let us be the bastards."
