Jul. 4th, 2009 10:06 pmThey're keeping a very close eye on him now. He can feel it. They're watching him every second. Barney the Day Care Manager wasn't too happy about having a baby, even a known head banging baby, knocking himself out on a brick wall in the garden.
Now they're insisting on making him wear this silly hat made of foam. Resistance is futile; he's tried every possible means to get it off and has had to admit that it does allow him to bang his head on solid things without hurting himself.
He's too young to feel like an idiot too.
Alexander peers at his reflection in the mirror. Silly hat. Big blue thing stuck on his head. It's not like he's been trying to knock himself unconscious, it was a mistake...
He wishes he could explain himself to the giants, but he can't. Even though a lot of their sounds are beginning to make sense, he can't work out how to communicate that tapping his head gently against the wall is relaxing.
Never mind that. He's tired of being the only kid not walking in this place. He pulls himself up against the nearest box and concentrates on practicing moving his feet left and right. Until the large blonde toddler approaches, regards him with amusement, and pushes him over.
