He'd always wanted to wait for someone special. And at first, the thought that he had lost track of that because of a prank made him hurt, and angry.
But gradually the hurt faded as he settled down a bit. Okay, it wasn't planned, but it wasn't really his fault, or Raz's. Since the alternative at the time was sitting on his own in his room going slowly insane, he's decided it was probably a good thing.
He couldn't quite convince himself that losing one's virginity because you were made an amnesiac by an apple doesn't count. And after the initial shock, he didn't want to either. Because truth be told, it was the first break from loneliness in a long time.
And for the first time he understands the people he sees every day, with the bizarre injuries from spontaneous dangerous activities.
Why fret about today and yesterday? Tomorrow, you might eat an apple and end up insane.
He goes to work.
