Guppy doesn't turn around, just stares at the lake.

"What do you want Abs?"

Abs comes and stands alongside him.

"I think you should take time off."

Guppy doesn't answer. He just sits there. Skimming stones. Abs sits down next to him.

"Guppy, I'm serious. You're constantly on edge, you were almost negilgent with that kid today."
"I found him when he ran off. I spotted FAS in his sister."
"But you kept rushing off. To kill your father. You could have got us both sacked."
"I wouldn't have got you sacked."
"You could have done."
"I wouldn't have let you be sacked Abs."
"And how would you have stopped it?"

Guppy gets up and begins to walk away. Abs gets up and turns him around roughly.

"For fuck's sake Guppy listen to me! You are not well, you should not be at work."
"Let me go Abs." There is a strange look in his eyes, almost dark.
"Not until you listen."
There is a quick movement, Guppy is out of Abs' grip.
"Today I got the only thing I have ever wanted in my whole life. Tomorrow you can have the miserable sod that I am normally. For now, just leave me alone."

Abs sighs, turns and goes back into the bar.
