(no subject)

It's not the tidiest of rooms. In one corner is Scampi's cat basket, in another a massive pile of paperwork and a couple of large books. Otherwise the room is more or less empty, except for the basic furniture it came with. There is a family photograph on his bedside table with his parents and grandparents in. A destroyed sock is peeping out from under the bed.

Guppy leads Sam in, shutting the door behind him.

"Sorry 'bout the mess." he says, walking slightly unsteadily to the bed and sitting down.
